Cecilia and Margaux's meet-cute happened at a pole dance photo session. Their friendship skyrocketed instantly, bonding over pole dancing, fashion designing, drool-worthy food, and an Italy obsession. Margaux's love for photography sparked in high school, leading to a spontaneous photoshoot suggestion. Clicking away at each other, a rooftop shoot in Montreal got them noticed by mtlstories, sparking a lightbulb moment - Montreal needed more of these cool shoots! And just like that, mtlpoleshoots was born on Cici's rooftop terrace in 2019.
This year we are blessed with Josee's precious help as a stage manager of the Halloween Pole Show. She is too a pole passionate, vet by day and pole instructor by night at MPDS and Pole Lounge!
Cecilia
Pole Dance Instructor
Cici is a passionate pole dancer, dedicated instructor, and the co-founder of MTL Pole Shoots and the beloved Halloween Community Pole Show.
Driven by creativity and a deep sense of community, she brings people together through movement, performance, and powerful storytelling.
A true artist at heart, Cici also pours her energy into her handmade jewelry business, where each piece reflects her love for texture, balance, and bold expression.
Her talent on the pole has earned her accolades, including Winner of the Semi-Pro Afterhours Division at the Pole Master Championship 2024 and First Runner-Up at CPAC Afterhours (Semi-Pro).
Cici is known for her long, flowy pole jams and her love for the unexpected — whether she’s hanging from her knees, armpits, or elbows, she finds beauty in unconventional grip points. These are her superpowers, and she teaches them with a warm, grounded, and empowering approach.
Margaux
Jack of all trades.
Margaux is the founder of Calmness Hotline and co-founder of MTL Pole Shoots, a photo & video-focused creative that produces striking visuals, unforgettable retreats, and the highly anticipated Halloween Pole Show.
Known for her sharp eye, visionary direction, and love for detail, Margaux brings movement to life both behind the lens and on stage.
She’s deeply committed to showcasing the beauty, vulnerability, and power of performers through photography, video, and immersive events.
A multidisciplinary artist and movement lover at heart, Margaux blends her background in theater, dance, and fashion to craft transformative experiences — from intimate shoots to full-scale productions.
Her work bridges community and creativity, inviting others to step into their boldest, most expressive selves.
Whether she’s designing a set, capturing a spin, or curating a show, Margaux leads with clarity, aesthetic precision, and a true passion for elevating others through art.

Josée Ferraro is a dynamic force in the pole dance world—by day, she is a dedicated veteran artist, and by passion and night, she thrives as a theatrical pole performer and esteemed instructor at Pole Lounge and MPDS.
A multi-talented creative, Josée is best known for her stunning costume changes, seamless choreography, and deep theatrical presence. Her talents shone brightly at the Pole Master Championship 2024, where she claimed first place with her unforgettable Barbie-inspired performance—a fusion of elegance, character, and raw power.
Off stage, Josée brings the same energy and precision as the stage manager of the Halloween Pole Show. She ensures that every participant is supported, every deadline is met, and that the backstage flow transitions effortlessly into performance-ready moments. From timing cues to wardrobe adjustments, Josée’s calm authority and keen organizational gifts keep the show running like clockwork.
Beyond performance and production, Josée’s Instagram showcases her flair for artful fashion, thoughtful movement, travel, and creative expression.
